What if I told you that you can improve your health in 30 minutes by doing cardio everyday? 30 minutes of cardio boosts your endurance, regulates cholesterol, improves heart health, lowers blood pressure and burns calories according to experts. It also releases endorphins which can improve your mood. You know what's a great 30 minute cardio activity? Bike riding!
Who said excercise has to be hard work? It can be fun! I know, I know! You're busy! You have no time, right? Surely you can spare 30 minutes for a fun bike ride! And it can double as quality family time if you have the kids join you. It's a family affair.
For the rest of the month, let's ride those bikes till the wheels fall off! 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week. I'll see you on the bike trail or on the block!
Fitness made easy!!!!!
I have a new challenge to add and it's oh so easy! For a lot of us, the weather is changing and that means spending evenings indoors watching some good tv! If you have a favorite hour long show(and I know I do), I challenge you to spend at least 30 of those 60 minutes working in some good old fashioned floor or resistance excercise. Either grab some 5 lb weights and work your back, shoulders, or arms, or take to the floor to work those abs! This is a great way to sneak in a good workout while catching up on your fave show! Multi-tasking at it's finest. And....it will keep you from snacking in front of the tv. An all around good idea!
New Challenge!!!
Let's face it ladies, It's cold outside! But Luckily this new fitness challenge is great for indoors! Lately I find myself obsessed with YOGA!!!! So what are the benefits of yoga you ask?
What more can you ask for? My personal suggestion is check out you tube Boho Beautiful's channel. She has some great workouts and they vary from beginner level to advanced.
